Agents play a crucial role in interacting with customers, ensuring timely responses and efficient management of inquiries. Below are the steps to invite someone to join your team as an agent.
Key Responsibilities of an Agent
- Primarily focuses on interacting with customers.
- Granted access to view and manage assigned conversations within the inbox.
- Limited to Inbox access only.
Send an invitation
The ability to send invitations depends on your role in WideBot.
- Navigate to Settings > Team Manager > Team.
- Click on "+ Assign New Team Member".
- Choose the "Agent role".
- Click "Next" and copy the generated URL. This acts as your teammate's invitation.
- Send the URL directly to your new teammate.
Invitation limits
WideBot does not limit your ability to send invitations. However, there are a few important points to consider:
- The invitation link will expire in 24 hours. If the recipient doesn't accept the invitation within this time, you will need to generate a new one.
- Each team member requires a unique invitation link. Please repeat steps 2-4 to generate separate links for each role you wish to invite.
