Understanding User Roles
Admin
- Holds the highest level of access, overseeing all aspects of the platform.
- Can access, edit, and manage everything except deleting the bot itself.
Editor
- Authorized to access and modify most functionalities within the platform.
- Can edit all bot configurations, content, and settings.
- Restricted from adding or removing user roles.
Agent
- Primarily focuses on interacting with customers.
- Granted access to view and manage assigned conversations within the inbox.
- Limitation: Restricted to Inbox access only.
Analyst
- Responsible for monitoring bot performance and user behavior.
- Has access to audience insights and analytics dashboards.
- Limitation: Cannot modify bot content or configurations.
Viewer
- Limited access for observing bot functionalities.
- Can view all bot sections, scripts, and settings but cannot make any edits.
Supervisor
- Manages the bot's team, ensuring efficient operations.
- Authorized to assign new roles to other users within the platform.
- Limitation: Cannot perform actions outside of role management.
App Manager
- Oversees the bot's connection with external channels.
- Can manage existing connected channels and establish new connections.
- Limitation: Limited to channel management tasks.
How to Assign Roles to Your Team
- Navigate to Settings > Team Manager > Team.
- Click on "+ Assign New Team Member".
- Choose the specific role needed. Think of these as unique skill sets for your teammates!
- Click "Next" and copy the generated URL. This acts as your teammate's invitation.
Important Note: Each team member requires a unique invitation link. Please repeat steps 2-4 to generate separate links for each role you wish to invite.
- Send the URL directly to your new teammate.
Please note: This link will expire in 24 hours. If they don't accept the invitation within this time, you will need to generate a new one.
